The color is always not as white/cool when using the Google Home. The different colours also don't reflect accurately when using the Google Home app and the Wipro app is a bit slow and not as pretty to use. The music sync feature is nice but uses your mobile's mic which will pick any and every sound it hears, not just music. And one last thing of concern, the bulb gets significantly hot when you turn it off by the app but the physical switch on wall stays On. Despite all this I'm pretty satisfied the with purchase since this is my first smart light. Might buy some more if I get used to the yellowish color of light as the new normal.

This is a good product. It integrates efficiently with Alexa, and the Wipro app is good too. However, the product life is no longer than 1 to 1.5 years. I have two of them, and after one year, both have started to show problems, such as the RGB color not working anymore—only the white light works.

Every thing work very well till a year, but now it starts flickering in colour mode, due to this it off sometimes. So unwillingly I have to keep on in white mode. And its working with only 2.5 Ghz wifi. If you have 5 Ghz wifi connection then it will not work. 1 out of 2 is now useless.

Disclaimer: I'm a big time DIY person and my views are based on how it worked out for me with DIY home automation I know this is over a year old product in Nov 2020 but it comes with great value for money. Especially with festival discounts comes to less than Rs. 400. Till now I have made couple of custom wifi bulbs using 5v LED strip + PSU + ESP module because they were cheap (also unreliable and fragile). But this bulb's cost comes to less than DIY version and offers better features and reliability. This is my first Wipro bulb and it was seamless connection with its app and cloud server. But that is not how I wish to use :). My home automation setup is all local (Home Assistant on RPi) so I want my devices to be local as well. Thankfully this Wipro CCT bulb is based on generic IoT platform called Tuya (contains ESP module – different flavour of ESP8266). It still uses old firmware which can be replaced using OTA tuya-convert method. No need to open the bulb and no soldering needed. I was able to flash within first attempt. I use custom ESPHome firmware for my setup and it works great. Seamless transition. I wish companies would sell just blank bulbs or easy to replace firmware bulbs for DIYers, however, I understand they won't for obvious reasons. With this setup it won't rely on Wipro cloud servers (or tuya) and I am assured that it will run as long as the hardware is live. No internet dependency and no security concerns. One of my super favourite automation is, on turning switch on it will turn white light during the day time and at night time it will turn warm + dim. White light temperature is great on this bulb. Can turn all they way to super day light white (6500K) to warm white. It is not super warm but good enough for night time light. Brightness of the bulb is a bit low compared to other 9W bulbs. In fact it is much lower than the newer Wipro's own 9W colour+CCT bulbs. Ironically from the specs it says 900 lumens on this bulb vs 850 with colour+cct bulb (which is much brighter). So definitely it is not living up to its specs 😉 Pros: – Great value for money – Perfect for small area like wash area, bathroom, night light, etc – Generic Tuya platform, so can flash custom firmware via tuya-convert OTA Cons: – Less light brightness compared to other 9W bulbs

I have to say that this light bulb provides really good value at 697. Lets say if someone has to make something like this, they would have to go for hilink power supply, RGB leds, heatsink, esp8266 etc, it would become bulky and more expensive than this product, not to mention the time they have to invest on it. Build quality is good, comparable to other players in the market, they have pretty good heat sink in the body to dissipate heat due to the average power supply. LED board sits on top of another metal circular thing which has some sort of heat absorbing paste in it. Overall really good package in an affordable price. I have installed tasmota in it, integrated directly to home assistant. Only downside is the tuya chip(WB3L) comes with it is not a compatible esp class. so I had to replace it with a regular esp8266 12e. Pin configuration seems to be the same. If anyone tries to replace the tuya chip with a regular esp, the TX pin is not soldered, just leave it there. I would recommend this product, smart and elegant (except the power supply)

Hey y’all, I got this 9W bulb in white, and it’s super bright. But when you switch to other colors, it’s not as bright. Other than that, this thing’s awesome! If you’re into brighter colors, go for a higher wattage—it’d be perfect!

Yes you heard it right, when I ordered this product I was not sure whether it will be compatible without wifi or not. But when I used tge product I was happy with it. You should have a hotspot or wifi from another mobile just to add the device to your mobile. After that you can just use bluetooth to control the bulb. The colours are good and applications are responsible. One issue I faced was with the light. The hues of red are dimmer than the hues of blue. Although red is more visible in music mode it is less bright in colour or scene mode. The music sync is not that great but for the price its good. Overall great product.

Because it's having awsome features like 16 million light combination selection and adjusting brightness in your Android device using Wipro app. Can link Amazon Alexa or Siri devices. You doesn't need an internet connection to perform in your local wifi network or it will work on your device Bluetooth too. It's responding to music, voice , games , icons in Wipro application. If you connected your device as per manual received in it. You can control anywhere from a finger tip, all you need an internet connection. With one click it will turn to night mode and your favourite colour settings and in to bright white or yellow cab easily switch. First time pairing also simple. Read instructions carefully. The bulb is dim, and it is not returnable. The brightness in white mode was duller than usual LED bulbs. I should have opted for the 12.5W version. THIS ITEM IS ONLY REPLACEABLE, NOT RETURNABLE.

After 2 weeks of usage, the light is not turning on. In the app, on/off is enabled once, and the physical switch is on, but it doesn't turn on. It shows as connected to Wi-Fi, as checked in the router connected devices. I tried resetting but no help.
